Submit a Press Release

Share your research with the academic community and science-interested public. Submission is free and open to all researchers.

Submission Requirements

• Research basis: The press release must summarize peer-reviewed research or a pre-print with a DOI.
• Length: 400–800 words recommended.
• Language: English only at this time.
• Citations: Include at minimum the DOI or journal reference of the primary research.
• Images: Optional, but a high-resolution figure or photo significantly improves visibility.
• Conflicts of interest: Any financial or institutional conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

How to Submit

To submit, register as an author on this site and draft your press release using the standard post editor. Submit it for editorial review by setting the status to “Pending Review.” Our team will respond within 5 business days.

Alternatively, send your release as a plain-text document to press@genealogy.jp with the subject line “Press Release Submission.”
